Kareena Kapoor has planned to celebrate her Birthday far away in Latvia in Eastern Europe.
On September 21, which is Tuesday next week, Kareena turns 30. But she will be busy shooting for boyfriend Saif Ali Khan’s home production Agent Vinod in Latvia. Saif will indeed hope to make the day special for Bebo.
Kareena will be away from Mumbai for a month long shoot. Her role in Agent Vinod is very demanding and requires her to do risky stunts. A bit of birthday celebration in between hectic shoots will no doubt lighten her up.

We hear Saif plans to fly Bebo’s mom Babita to Latvia on September 21.

Ajay and Kajol name their baby boy

Bollywood Actors Ajay and Kajol, who this week became proud parents to their little baby boy have found a name for the new member. The little bundle of joy who is not even a week old has been named Yug, a Sanskrit term meaning to join together.
Kajol delivered the little bundle of joy at the Leelavati hospital in Mumbai on Monday morning around 9:20 am. The couple already has a daughter who is 9 years old named Nysa. The name Nysa comes from a Greek goddess. Marking this happiness many people turned up to wish the couple a hearty congratulation at the coming of the baby Devgan.1
During and after the delivery of their first kid, Kajol had taken a break from work in order to baby sit her girl. She made a come back years later with Fanna. But this time Kajol and Ajay both have made a successful beginning with Films like ‘My Name Is Khan’ and ‘We Are Family’ under Kajol’s belt while ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ under Ajay’s. Ajay’s next big hit, Golmaal 3 will also hit screens soon around Diwali.

As far as the mummy and baby were concerned, both were reported to be fine and healthy. Many celebrity friends including SRK, Piggy chops and Ritesh Deshmukh took the opportunity of wishing the couple through twitter. Ajay in return did not miss thanking back every one, after all this news indeed calls for a grand celebration on the part of the Devgans.

Kangna says, “For a marriage, you need another person; a partner

Kangna Ranaut, who is currently riding high on the success of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, is in no mood to get hitched -not in a hurry at least.
Kangna, whose frizzy and long hair evokes images of a modern-day Medusa, was linked with Shekhar Suman’s son, Adhyayan, for a brief period. But her relationship with the camera has lasted much longer than those with any man. Kangna says, “For a marriage, you need another person; a partner. I have neither found anybody yet, nor am I in a hurry to do so.” She adds, “I think love has to happen, you cannot look for it.”
Kangna also feels that her timing in the industry has been a bit awry. The girl who hails from the Himalayan ranges, claims that this is an additional reason for her putting off the idea of marriage for a while. She explains, “All my heroes are twice my age. Most of them are already married and settled. The others are engaged so there is no one left for me.”

Unperturbed by the fact that there is no man on the horizon for now, Kangna declares, “I want to concentrate on my career.” Her personal life may have come up against a speed breaker but her career leaves her breathless. Lined up for release this year are Knock Out and No Problem. And she has as many as four films in store for 2011: Tanu Weds Manu, Game, Dhamaal 2, Rascals and One And Only.

Walking the ramp is fun says Pooja Batra

After returning to the ramp after nine years at the India Men’s Week, actor Pooja Batra will be following it up with yet another ‘guest appearance’ at the Lakme Fashion Week for designer Babita Malkani. Pooja admits that she might even take a bigger break after walking the ramp.
“I am in Mumbai for a good three weeks and I want to make the most of it. Not only I am walking for Babita, I will also be attending all the post-event parties to catch up with all my designer and model friends with whom I have lost touch over the years,” says Pooja, who has settled down in Los Angeles after she got married to orthopaedic surgeon Sonu Ahluwahlia.
Walking the ramp is fun even though she didn’t plan it at all, says Pooja. “Babita has been a friend of mine. I have a habit of lifting clothes from her. It’s like ‘Yeh accha hai, mujhe de de yaar’. Now, when I came down to Mumbai, it was Babita’s turn. She asked me to be her show-stopper and I obviously can’t say no to her,” she adds.

Pooja, who was last seen in 2005 in the historical epic Taj Mahal, says that though she is not keen on doing television, she always welcomes a great role with open arms. “I have always been a keen actor. But I don’t know about television here though I am anyway doing something on international television (she is referring to the American sitcom Outsourced). I am pursuing acting in America. I have booked a show there and I am hoping my character develops. It is for NBC (channel).” she adds. So, once she is out of the country, will she do the vamoosh act again?
“If I am there then you ask, ‘Why are you away for so long’ and when I am here, you ask me, ‘When are you going back?’. Pehle decide kar lo, whether you want me here or not,” she jests.

Manyata Dutt is expecting twins in January and a host of Bollywood stars came in to wish the parents-to-be luck and to shower their blessings on the family. Ameesha Patel played the perfect host to Manyata Dutt’s baby shower. This star-studded affair included the likes of Sophie Choudhary, Neha Oberoi, Vidya, Krishika Lulla, Sheeba, Malaika Khan, Shilpa and Raj Kundra, Maana Shetty, and Jaya Prada. The party also saw the re-union of Sanjay and Manyata Dutt with sisters-in-laws Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt who were present at the party.

Rahman is 'musically just extraordinary', says Danny Boyle

A.R. Rahman is just incomparable as a music composer, says Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle, adding that the Indian music maestro has created "deliberatively manipulated moods" for his new film "127 Hours".
Rahman, who won two Academy Awards for doing the soundtrack for Slumdog Millionaire in 2008, came in for high praise for his music in Boyle’s new film "127 Hours" which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival (TIFF) currently under way here.
"It is quite rare to watch someone who is so musically just extraordinary really...and he inhabited the world (in ’127 Hours’) we are trying create silence with...sometimes there is silence, but sometimes it is a kind of ambience silence he created," said Boyle of Rahman.
"And all the time, Rahman created very deliberatively manipulated moods to reflect his characters or pushed in through something."
The British director said soundtrack is the most vital part of a movie. "It doesn’t matter what we all do visually. One thing I have learnt in my career is that 70 percent of the movie is sound. Cinematographers will hate it....but it is absolutely true.
"It is an ordinary piece of advice I always give to filmmakers - who are starting off - to save some money for the sound with you. At the end, it is extraordinary how it (sound) means to people."
"127 Hours" is a real-life 127-hour-long nightmare of American accomplished climber Aron Ralston who embarked on a solo adventure in 2003 and ended up trapped inside a deep canyon in Utah state, with his right arm crushed by a boulder.
During his relentless struggle to free his arm from beneath the boulder, he ran out of water and drank his own urine to survive. After failing to cut off the trapped arm and losing all hope of ever getting out alive, he started videotaping his last hours. Finally, he managed to cut off his arm to free himself after five days.

The Pineapple Express star James Franco plays the role of Aron Ralston in this compelling film with powerful cinematography and soundtrack.

The girl will fill her wardrobe with short, sexy clothes for the film and the onus of making her look hot, like never before, is on the capable shoulders of Anaita Shroff Adajania, the fashion director of Vogue India. This is not the first time that the lady will design costumes for a Bollywood actress. She already has the credit for Aishwarya Rai’s saucy look in Dhoom 2 and has also designed stylish clothes for Deepika Padukone in Love Aaj Kal.

Abbas-Mustan has pulled up their socks for the film for which they even bought the remake rights; so it’s official. The shooting will take place in Russia and New Zealand from November. The movie is going to be big and will be made in an estimated $30 million-dollar budget.
Sonam’s co-star in the film is the debonair Abhishek Bachchan.
